Alexandrite Laser Rod

High Quality Alexandrite Laser Rod

Alexandrite (Cr3+:BeAl2O4, chromium-doped beryllium aluminate) is a 4-stage energy laser material used in an adjustable wavelength of 700-820nm.

Alexandrite laser rods can handle high-energy, wide pulses and resist thermal shock.

The Alex rod is mainly used for applications such as dermatology, with great absorption into melanin at 755nm, making it the preferred gain material used for the hair removal industry.

Alexandrite crystal boules are grown per the Czochralski growth method.

The output energy of an Alex laser rod is the main critical parameter for every system designer, and that depends on the Cr uniformity along the rod.

The Alexandrite boules Arsuf Laser grows and supplies have a superb crystal structure and Cr concentration uniformity, resulting in output energy 30-80% higher than similar rods in the market.

Arsuf Lasers’ advantages:

  • Growing the alexandrite crystal to your needs
  • Higher efficiency
  • Hard coating
  • Engineering support
  • Free failure analysis
  • Competitive and stable pricing
  • Flexible delivery

More information about Alexandrite Rods

What is an Alexandrite laser crystal?
An Alexandrite laser crystal is a type of laser crystal made from the mineral chrysoberyl.

It is known for its ability to produce high-power, visible-light laser beams at a wavelength of 755 nanometers, which falls in the red part of the visible spectrum. Read the full article…

Applications of Alexandrite laser crystal

Alexandrite lasers are commonly used in a variety of medical and cosmetic applications, such as hair removal, tattoo removal, and skin resurfacing.
Due to its high power, stability, and reliability, the Alexandrite laser is considered one of the gold standards for laser hair removal.

Frequently Asked Questions

According to the technical specification, a detailed report is supplied to the customer.

No, as all crystals are processed on the same line, the main difference lies in the LIDT requirements (Laser Induced Damage Threshold) determined by the rod's energy density.

Replacement depends on usage, maintenance, and industry, similar to car mileage.

Arsuf is capable of selecting diverse manufacturing and coating processes to maximize crystal quality, efficiency, maximal energy output, above-average lifetime, and high damage threshold. The entire process is performed in-house, leveraging multiple supplier capabilities to ensure the highest customer satisfaction—free from the constraints of a single-supplier approach.

Product warranty is provided by Arsuf, enabling selection from multiple manufacturing and coating technologies for the best outcome.
